Nice Guy Technology is looking for a friendly, dependable Pickup & Delivery Team Member to help ensure our clients’ computers are transported safely and on time.
This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys interacting with people, values attention to detail, and wants a flexible, low-hour position.
You’ll be the first face many of our clients see in the morning, picking up computers from their homes and delivering them to our office in Apple Valley. Your professionalism and care help set the tone for an excellent client experience.
Pickup & Delivery Team Member responsibilities include, and are not limited to:
Pick up computers and related equipment from clients’ homes
Safely transport devices to the Nice Guy Technology office in Apple Valley
Confirm equipment details and ensure accurate handoff to the office team
Handle all equipment with care and attention to detail
Provide friendly, courteous interactions with clients (mostly retired adults)
Communicate clearly with the team regarding pickups, timing, and any issues
Qualifications:
Reliable personal transportation
Clean driving record
Ability to pass a background check
Friendly, professional demeanor—especially in the morning
Strong attention to detail
A genuine love for people and helping others feel cared for
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift, carry, and transport computer equipment up to 40 pounds
Ability to navigate stairs and enter/exit vehicles multiple times per shift
The Details
Important details you might be wondering about.
Part time
We are looking for someone to work 0-10 hours per week depending on the week.
When you will work
Typical hours will be between 7:30 am and 12 pm Monday and Wednesday.
We will need you to work on Monday and Wednesdays during March-May and September-December.
We will need you to work at least one day per week during the other months of the year.
Pay range
Part time will start between $18-$22 per hour depending on experience
Paid time off
Part time will receive 1 hour of earned sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked
Location
Your primary work location will be in the community driving to client’s home throughout the 7 county metro area.
