Optional: We won’t proactively suggest an upgrade, but if you’re curious about a new device, we’ll listen to your reasons. If upgrading makes sense, we’ll support your decision.

Encouraged: At this stage, the device is still functional, but newer models have better features, performance, and security. Upgrading now can help you get the most out of your technology and may also offer trade-in or donation opportunities.

Recommended: It’s time to upgrade. These devices are no longer receiving security updates and may no longer meet your performance needs. We strongly recommend replacing them to ensure security, reliability, and a better user experience.

We will advise you on the purchase of a new gadget, acquire it, and set it up for you in your home.

If you’re unsure whether it’s time for an upgrade, we’re always happy to chat and help you decide what’s best for your needs.

  • At Nice Guy Technology LLC, we help you purchase and seamlessly set up a wide range of consumer tech devices. From computers (Mac or PC), smartphones (iPhone or Android), tablets (iPad or Android), and smartwatches (Apple Watch, Galaxy Watch) to modems, routers, printers, TVs, streaming devices (Apple TV, Roku, Fire TV), Kindle e-readers, and smart speakers (HomePod, Echo, Sonos), we ensure your entire tech ecosystem is up and running smoothly. And if you have a device not listed here, just let us know — we might be able to help!

  • You will receive your gift card at the conclusion of your appointment. Our plan is to hand you the gift card in person. Otherwise, we will put the gift card in the mail within 2 weeks of you appointment.

  • You may receive one gift card per household during the Summer of Upgrade promo.

  • This year we will be offering dedicated pick up and delivery windows. The plan is to offer two pickup and delivery windows.

    Pick ups will take place on Monday mornings with Wednesday deliveries and on Wednesday mornings with Friday deliveries. We may offer additional pick up dates and will communicate expected delivery date when scheduling.

  • Submit an appointment request prior to August 31, 2025 and let us know that you would like us to help you upgrade to the new iPhone 17 after it is announced and we will honor the $50 gift card.
